Assistance League of Phoenix is a non-profit philanthropic organization that has served Phoenix since 1960. Currently the all volunteer membership of Assistance League supports six philanthropic projects that touch the lives of thousands of people each year. The major funding for the projects is provided by income from the Thrift Shop operated by Assistance League of Phoenix and the Chapter's annual gala "Celebration of Caring."
"When you love what you do, it isn't work," said Marilyn Six, founding member and a recipient of the 2004 Hon Kachina Volunteer Award. Marilyn volunteered regularly at Operation School Bell® and the Thrift Shop.
